Options for use of Member Spaces

To keep you in control of communications and your information, Greenhour.org offers an array of privacy veils and security measures:

A visitor may, of course, decline to submit any personally identifiable information through Greenhour.org, in which case the visitor may not be able to participate in certain forums.

In setting up an account, a member may decide whether his or her avatar and member name will be personally identifying or not. The member also may decide whether or not he or she can be contacted via e-mail by other registered members of Greenhour.org. Additionally, a member may decline the option to appear in the "Featured Member" spotlight.

To protect the privacy and security of returning members, we take reasonable steps (such as requiring a log in and password) to verify your identity before granting you profile access or making corrections.

In order to reduce the possibility of spam, we have set up a word verification system that ensures that automated programs are not using the site.
